Some photos with 7-14 - City Hall
Mar 8, 2012

First of all what disturbs me mostly with the 7-14 is the f4 aperture, I would be more happy to have a wide lens for interiors, (like the pictures above). I had to crank up the iso often, and even than the shutter speed was on a limit.

I would like at least 2.8 worst aperture, but I have to live with it, or carry a tripod.

Second to that, (related) I would be happier with IS stabilized lens... I could gain few more stops in poor lighting conditions.

The 7-14 is very wide, I have to learn how to hold it properly sometimes my finger gets in the picture, if I am not careful. I left some images with my finger in the corner on purpose, just to see what I am talking about.

Overall it is fun to use it, but it has a very limited and specific purpose. I am thinking of Olympus 12mm, f2 in addition.

The City Hall of Marosvasarhely built in 1911-13, it is one of the most representative buildings of my home town, a legacy of the former Hungarian kingdom.
In the present holds the City Council. (Tirgu Mures, Romania)
