V1 hotshoe to pc adapter?

I found one thread which said such an adapter was not available (at the time). Does anyone know if anything has changed? Also, does anyone know the voltage limit for the V1 with external flash?

I don't use on-camera flash and have lights I will want to use if I get a V1. That's the only thing holding me back at this time.
