14-42x wont retract itself (stuck)

While I was shooting today with Panasonic 14-42x and e-pl3, half-way through zooming the screen of e-pl3 went black and now it said "This lens is locked. Please extend the lens"

I tried to take the lens off and put it on still does the same. The lens is now on it extended form and won't retract, I can't zoom or focus, and when the camera off I do hear a faint motoring sound from the lens but still won't retract.

Now I just to find a shop to try with Panasonic bodies and see if it can retract itself, otherwise I have to send it back to where I bought. I only used for less than a week!
