Frustrating that they would ignore this simple feature. This is one of the biggest things keeping me in my 5D and 20D. I probably would have bought a 60D if it had this, and I certainly would have bought a 7D with this and video crop modes.

They removed this from their new "pro AF", on the 1DX and 5DIII, which is even more odd to me. If the 5DIII had this and video crop modes, I might have even bought one, but as it is, no way.

You can AF at f/8 with your 5D and 20D?? My 20D can't nor can my 5DII.
