5D3 17~40 sample looks too good?

One official sample was taken with 17~40 at F/5.6. Anyone think this is a better that usual performance at the upper right corner, given 17~40 doesn't have a good reputation for full frame?

17~40 have another spot in the list but that was taken at F/11. It's a little usual high ratio for this lesser L lens. I am hoping the gapless micro lens design could help improving resolution for film era lens.
