Portrait lens: Nikon 85mm 1.4G vs 70-200mm 2.8 VR II ?

I have both lenses. I like the 85/1.4G more but 70-200VRII is much much more practical in almost any use. 70-200 will easily be good enough for portraits and gives you more options to do your portrait work. 85/1.4 on the other hand has a special feel to it and you can't beat speed.

I would recommend choosing 70-200 even if I like the 85 more.
