Interior QTVR of car. How to place the camera.

I want to do some interior QTVR panoramas inside my car. I have a D700 and the lens I want to use is 16-35mm f4 VR @ 16mm.

• What is the best way to place the camera so the damn thing won't move? I want to make a 360 image, with roof and button.

• Anyone used the D700 and 16-35mm, and can tell where the nodal point is?
