Ha ha ! Mathematically, you're right ! I just divide the big number by 3, as I've seen several reviewers do, in all of my readings. No harm.

BTW I checked the Broncolor Scoro A2S ("S" is for speed). Fantastic studio flash. It is 1600Joules (1600 ws) but when set to the speed mode, it tops at 1200ws with a 1/535th t=0.1 flash duration. Lower the power setting, and much shorter durations are obtained.

Of course, you got to have really deep pockets or high paying clients in order to acquire a large system based on these.
