Straps for m43 cameras?

They seem to come with neck straps.

But with the neck straps attached, when you put the camera into your pocket, there's this long strap hanging out of your pocket.

It seems to waste a huge amount of time attaching the strap to your camera or removing it from your camera.

What do people do about the straps?
