On all of them your version comes over as horrendously yellow.

I agree... the fixed version was/is definitely worse than the original.

The original does have the typical oversaturated Fuji red... probably because it was shot in Velvia mode would be my guess. This is standard for Fuji. I have always had problems keeping the saturation down on my reds when using Fuji cams.... also, related to this, I have always had diffficulty getting blues to render correctly.

My experience with these cameras has shown me that all I need to do is drop the saturation in the red channel only to fix this problem. If you were in Velvia mode, red needs to be dropped considerably (if it is not overexposed and blown out)... if in a 'natural' mode, then it only needs to be dropped a little. Then, I sometime add an auto white balance on a separate layer.... that usually goes too far into 'cold' balance so I blend it at around 50%.

In any event, the fixed version is worse than the original.
