A Desperate Appeal to Moderators - 5D Mk III

Many forums now use "Stickies" (threads posted at the top of the page in bold or colored titles to show importance).

If each announcement was Stickied, it would make things easier.

However, you're right that people want to be first or don't see other threads. But a thread called "OFFICIAL 5D MK III THREAD" (in capital letters, which aren't usually allowed on dpreview) would easily catch the attention of visitors.

Lastly, it's up to the moderators, not up to each person who wants to post a thread. Diligent monitoring of new threads, with appropriate ones being deleted or incorporated to the "official" one would streamline the forum as a whole.
