Do not ever ever sell the copyright.

Only sell a licence. Exclusive licence for a time period is ok if they pay a premium.

Judging the quality of the 10 or so photographs and length of text I would suggest asking for $1000-1500 for licenced rights to the article and photographs for one publication (i.e. a months licence), unlimited circulation.

Or, if it is your first ever sale (which I suspect it is) and you want it as a reference for your portfolio, consider less if they send you 5x copies of the magazine and credit you.
