Is carbon fiber tripod good for water?
Feb 28, 2012

My main heavy tripod legs (Slik 322 sport pro) are starting giving up in join areas. Legs worked very well for 7 years.

I'm thinking of buying new tripod legs, but not sure if CF are right for me. In particular, I don't know if CF legs will survive flowing creek water or ocean surf.
Also I like retractable spikes at the bottom of legs, that rules manfrotto out.

Any idea?

load capacity should be around 10 lb.

Person is taking photos, not camera. When photograph is bad, it's because photographer doesn't know how to choose settings optimal to "own preferences". Then blames camera for bad IQ.
This is same as blaming car about arriving to wrong destination.
