If it's a fast lens you are looking for, say for people shots indoors, pick up the Minolta MD 50mm 1.4. Already very good at f2.0. And perfect focal length/FOV (100mm) for a portrait lens. Try to pick up a late model MD if weight is a concern. The coatings were also better than the older models.

For the wide angle needs 20mm f1.7 remains the favoured lens. But people have complained of it being slower to focus, and are hoping for an upgraded version.

There's also a new 19mm Sigma. But, wait for detailed reviews and comparison against the kit 14-42 and the 20mm.
