Panasonic PZ 14-42mm Quality Correlation?

Is there any correlation data on the quality of the Panasonic PZ 14-42mmX lens as regards to vendors and dates of delivery?

This lens has been available in Asia for sometime. No postings from users from that part of the world?

If there is a focusing problem, Panasonic should be aware of it by now. And if Panasonic wants to keep the loyalty of its customers, it should recall those defective lenses.
