A G14?

Why not the G1 X? The cost difference and focal length, mainly. The G1 X goes to 112, the G12 to 140, and the Nikon P7100 to 200. Also, it's not clear from the DP preview of the G1 X whether that camera permits zoom during video capture, as the P7100 (but not the G12) does; the G1 X does improve upon the G12 by using AF in video mode, as does the P7100. Of course, the much larger sensor in the G1 X is very tempting.
