D800 vs. What?

I don't expect a definitive answer on this but I'd be interested in peoples' thoughts. I currently shoot with a D700 mostly with the 24-70 2.8. My wife shoots with a D200, mostly with the 17-55 2.8. We also have a fair assortment of other Nikon glass, including the 14-24mm, 105DC, 180 2.8, a couple of 50mm's, plus few manual focus AIS lenses that produce good results. We both think that the D700 is the cats meow, but we never make enlargements, only look at the photos on a computer. So now the question is whether to replace her D200 with a D7000 or to replace my D700 with a D800 and hand down the D700 to her. Discuss amongst yourselves.
