GRD III compared to GRD II?

Hello, all.
A couple of months ago I asked about any potential gotchas when buying a used Ricoh GR Digital III. A couple were mentioned (sensor dust and banding at high ISOs), but in the end I opted for a GR Digital II instead. However, I encountered two problems with that camera:
1. The sensor is noisy, even when compared to other compacts like my Panasonic LX3.
2. The shot-to-shot time is very long, at least when shooting raw.
Almost everything else about the GRD II impressed me, including its tiny size, sharp lens, great ergonomics, clever interface, and nice materials.
Armed with this new knowledge, I'm again curious about the GRD III. Can you tell me how it compares to the GRD II on the two points I list above?
Thanks!
P.S. I apologise for talking about ancient cameras.
