seems like you can get a second hand leica m8 for £1500 on ebay. (judging by their notoriously robust fabrication this is a good brand for second hand items) and add a very nice second hand leica prime or zeiss lens for about a grand.

Or you could get a fresh OmD (£1000) 12mm (£600), 25mm (£500), and 45mm (£250) for about the same price.....

Just crossed my mind today......

maybe some of you lucky folk have both.
