These authorized/independent repair centers are fully qualified to provide warranty service with fully trained staff and have all of the required proprietary tools and equipment on hand. They are responsible for a large share of the repair workload being undertaken in the U.S. Many of them were operating as direct Nikon repair centers under Ehrenreich back when Ehrenreich held the contract for Nikon in the U.S.

Shift that workload over to the already overburdoned two remaining Nikon U.S. repair centers in the U.S. and expect to see service decline much further than it already has.
