VG10 gap in audio between files

So, the VG10 will continuously record quite happily, but will create multiple files as it records.

My understanding is that these should be seamless joins of audio and video, but what I am finding is that the video is seamless, but with the audio there is a definite gap, as the following video shows at 1:42:

Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a way around it? Does the latest firmware specifically fix this (I was on original firmware for that shoot).
