Nex7 and M9 compared

Apples and oranges, ok...

Two images, one M9, one Nex7, both made with the leica 24 mm summicron aspherical. The M9 should have had a 35 mm lens to have the same view as the nex, but this experiment shows that the centre APS crop of a M9 picture will be MORE detailed when pictured with the nex7....

Nevertheless , have a look at this:

now the details to compare: first both with 100% enlargement:

rest is 150% for the M9, 100% for the Nex7 (to obtain maximum detail)

the tree has some "moiré" in the M9 image (developed with LR)
