Flash photography with a 1100D/T3
Feb 19, 2012

I've been amazed to discover what can be achieved with an external flash, especially pointing a wireless unit in different directions.

But the 1100D/T3 does not have wireless flash support, and the Speedlite transmitter ST-E2 that canon sells for this purpose is out of my budget.

So is this technique closed for me with my current camera or are there any workarounds that allow me to point an external flash in different directions?

I don't mind if the flash remains wired to the camera as long as I can remove it from the hotshoe and move it around.

Canon EOS 1100D (EOS Rebel T3 / EOS Kiss X50)
