Yeah, well it isn't just the Japanese who are buying mirrorless ILC's. I'm a DSLR user. I currently use the 40D, 60D, and 5D. I've been using DSLRs since the Canon 10D. And before that, I was using Canon film SLRs. But a couple months ago I got an Oly E-PM1 with VF3 electronic viewfinder because I wanted something lighter, more compact, and less conspicuous than a DSLR. And I love it! It now makes my DSLRs seem overly large. And the DSLRs I have aren't even the largest of DSLRs! Since using my E-PM1 as my take-everywhere street-shooting ILC, I've come to the realization: not everyone feels the need to use the camera equivalent of a monster truck. Smaller has its own benefits and advantages.
