S100 Battery Life

I know a lot of people are able to get up to 200 images on a fresh battery in the S100. I just finished a partial day of shooting in 40 degree temperatures. I got 55 RAW images (yes, only 55, not 155) on a fresh battery before the battery was flashing red. No GPS, no flash, no HDR, IS set for at time of shutter actuation only. Battery is a SterlingTek bought in November. Any ideas what might be the issue?
