Canon T3i - 4gb or 30 minute video limitation
Feb 17, 2012

Hi all, I just saw a video about the difference between SDHC and SDXC memory cards.

It basically says that SDHC uses fat32 to format the card and its limitation is a 4gb maximum file size. But with SDXC, that limitation is no existant because it uses ex-fat as its file system, or maybe its just alot higher than 4gb. The guy in the video says he has a T2i and implied that with an SDXC card, he can get videos bigger than 4gb or longer than the time limit. I read the review of the T3i on this site that says the T3i has a 4gb or 30 minute limit on the videos. If I use an SDXC card on this camera, can I record movies bigger than 4gb or longer than 30 minutes? Anyone try this?
