Canon S100 vs Fuji F30

Finally decided to replace my ageing Fuji F30 with the Canon S100. It's been a long time since I used the F30 as the auto focus button had an intermittent problem but I miss having a compact camera that was decent in low light.

Decided to carry out a quick low light test in the corner of my lounge to see how they compared.

The canon was resized to 6M for easier comparison.

The canon seems to have the beating of the F30. The picture is more realistic with less noise. It is a bit softer but that can be sorted with some post processing.

Will try and find time to do some more comparisons.
