Fujifilm X10 and the White Discs of Doom. Thanks to Digital Camera Resource for a truthful look at the white disk issue. It's there. It's real. It is in all modes. It always has been. It isn't fixed by new? firmware.

As I have said before the camera produces great results in most conditions. I don't publish "failures".

That said, I had one of the first cameras ... and reported the issue to Fujifilm Canada, Fujifilm Japan and my local retailer right away. It does ruin some day and night shots.

I do expect Fujifilm to correct the issue in some meaningful way. New camera ... exchange ... hardware fix ... real firmware fix ... whatever! Just get on with it!
