Roger, I wrote "if all else failed" meaning that if there was a heat issue or something like that, it's a good option to use another camera. I saw a Canon T2i (550D) advertised for $399 (USD) in our area at Frys. I was tempted to buy it, but I'll wait and see what other upgrades Canon offers this spring.

This past Saturday, I brought with me four DSLR cameras on my photo session, and used three of them. Here's some photos I've posted from the Canon T2i and Olympus E-510. I wouldn't have it any other way. Using multiple cameras works out well for me, especially at people events. I just got the Canon T2i (550D) recently, so I'm looking for opportunities to test it out. I don't change lenses for a number of reasons and take many thousands of pictures each year doing it that way.
