Manual focusing "aids"

Hi there, I bought a Konica AR camera to use the 40mm lens on my Pany and playing with it it all came back to me. The joy and ease of manual focus with the split thingie in the middle (sorry, I never did photography in english so I don't know the proper name - is it split screen/microprism?).

I haven't tried a viewfinder MFT camera yet, and I don't particularly like the zoom focusing aids on the camera screen. Is there anything similar, or similarly easy to use for our MFT gear? I guess an electronic split screen effect is optically impossible to achieve in software, right?
