Tamron 18-200mm E-mount firmware glitch?

I am using the Tamron 18-200 on a Nex-7.

Very much enjoying using the lens so far and very happy with its performance.

Panorama issue aside, I think there may be a glitch with this lens or maybe just my one. On occasion I will go to take a shot and after pressing the shutter fully there is about a 1 second delay then actuation, the resulting shot is blurred. I have made no changes to normal shooting in settings.

Switching off does not return the camera to normal function but removing and replacing the battery does. Obviously this is nothing more than a minor annoyance I just wondered if others with this lens and camera had any similar occurances or a reason it may be doing it - eg its flipping freezing here!
