A Simple NEX Question
Feb 12, 2012
|
First let me say that I really like the bold asymmetrical design & styling of the NEX cameras. I am not an engineer nor am I particularlly logical, but I see the logic of the asymmetric layout.
My question is: Since this camera system mount and lens are designed around SONY's APS-C sized sensors, are they now considered to be full frame transfer of the image and no longer a 'crop sensor' camera since it is no longer hamstrung by a legacy 35mm mount? Yes I know it's not a full 35mm frame, but so what? It's just a smaller frame. A smaller window is still just as much a window as a larger window.
Thank You.
