..try the old ones, they are good despite their quirks, particularly for their current going prices.
You need to think of the sensor as a bucket, which you need to fill up as much as possible, to the absolute maximum, with light and color, without spilling the slightest bit over the edge by shaking it or blowing the gamut. Then the cameras rule big time.
