re: anyone foud the way to block that pesky video-record button?

I'm even tinkering with an idea to superglue it immobile !!!

and that brilliant Sony's decisions: to always switch to video playback
after that button is hit, and esp. to show "images deleted" msg. are
almost certain to earn them top IG Nobel awards :P,
