live view with hdmi screen tethered to nex7

It works with the old non-N NEX-5. After reading this post I had to try it and it works! I always thought the HDMI connection is only for viewing photos and videos.

The live view over HDMI is quite jaggy and definitely not full-HD though. The image of the wheel and button descriptions on the right side cannot be turned off.
