It is so funny, you want to cry

I spend several weeks listening to the counter ORB argument by the X10 owners. Their passionate defense is that the ORB problem is "not an issue with them at all" and that they either "never" see ORBS or see them as little as "two or three times every 4,000 shots". Loud and clear they make that claim.

I listened to them last weekend.

I looked at X10 images in the flickr groups.

I thought hard about it.

I realized that I can get caught up in my own arguments too strongly.

I don't own an X10 so clearly cannot make claims based on my own experience.

I LISTENED to those who do own the X10 and HAVE the experience.

I gave their EXPERIENCE the benefit of my doubt and bought an X10.

I get ORBS up the wazoo, shot #3 and more during my first 2 hour walk with the camera.

I report my findings here.

Result?

I GET FLAMED AND TORCHED . NOT the people who vigorously stated that the X10 ORB problem is nothing worth considering.

Now all those defenders are singing a different tune. Apparently the X10 DOES have an ORB problem and that I was STUPID to go out and buy one.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE .
