What if Cannon makes a clean break with Studio/landscape?

The 1Dx is aimed at the Photojournalism and Wedding Market and has been designed with those shooters needs in mind. A Photo Journalist needs a camera that focuses quickly, with high processing speeds. This thread seems more about a camera for the type of shooter who is more deliberate in their shot selection.

The 1Dx was never intended as the do everything camera for every photo situation, a point so many on this Forum seem to miss. I have a car for City driving and an SUV to haul gear and my Kayak Trailer.
