need help - 32gb CF looks like 8gb???

Thank a million. Been a few years since I've done HD partitioning and my oh my how much I've forgotten.

Made good progress.

Couldn't use Disk Management to perform the partition removal in W7. Various articles confirmed that. Had to use DISKPART. That worked. I now have a single 32gb FAT32 partition. Everything seems to work except one thing:

THESE THINGS WORK

1) Windows Explorer on two different W7 machines (laptop and desktop) both show the size to be 32gb.

2) Card works in two different cameras: 5D and 40D. Both are limited to showing 999 pictures left, and after a few pictures that number doesn't change, as it shouldn't because the card SHOULD hold over 3000 raw pictures. Was able to import the pictures into Lighroom.
3) Card works in OLDER Imagemate 12in1 on both computers
4) Card works in NEWER Imagemate Allin1 on laptop

WHAT DOESN"T WORK

1) Card is not recognized in newer Imagemate Allin1 when plugged into desktop. My desktop is a custom build I did myself two years ago, but with higher end components, i.e. it's not "tricked out" and I didn't try to save any money. Have never had any USB problems before

Thoughts???
