What do you have to gain

From a practical POV, the E-1 should be the one to go.
Because yes, the E-5 and E-3 can be used flawlessly in a two-camera setup.

BUT...

  • How much will you get for your E-1 and do you need that little bit of money urgently?

  • Do you need the cupboard space? Dump a stack of old magazines that you have kept but will never read again.

I am sure you would regret getting rid of the E-1. It was and is a magnificent and a milestone camera.
