x10 or NEX-5N or any other?

I have a DSLR that I cannot bring along every time I am going out (bcos of 2 kids), and a Canon G10.

As I am mainly doing street and kid pictures, my G10 does not bring any satisfaction, definitely too slow for shooting moving subjects.

I am then thinking about upgrading ... really tough job when looking at what the market is offering.
All in all, I am hesitating between:

• x10 -> seems fast, excellent IQ, great warm colors, sufficient zoom, BUT ORBS issue!!

• NEX-5N -> excellent IQ, I like Sony rendering (had DSC-V1 long time ago), zoom a bit short, seems a bit bulky ... what about performance for shooting moving subjects?

• Canon G1X -> seems only promising, waiting for first reviews.

On this basis, what would you recommend knowing my main requirement?
