This is the situation facing photography/video right now! It's like, find me a camcorder under $900 that has interchangeable lenses, shoots in a number of frame rates and has an enormous sensor. They just don't exist. This is why people are jumping on DSLRs for video. The Sony NEXVG20 is a really interesting progression. I imagine that's where the industry is going - true hybrid stills/video cameras with large sensors and interchangeable lenses, that are at least somewhat affordable.
