Canon 5D3

I agree that above about 18 MP you are just pushing data around on your hard drive that does not translate to better printed images unless you are a large print kind of guy or a landscaper. So a camera of anywhere from 22-24 MP would be fine with me. What I don't understand is the emphasis on fast frame rates. I don't do action and sports photography, so a relatively slow frame rate of 5-8 FPS is fine with me. I think the 5D3 will have much improved video features and a better focusing system, beyond that I really don't don't care. A swivel screen would be nice, but if it is not a feature, they better include a great OLED display that I can see in sunlight.
