Any D3100 People or Portrait Samples

Hi....my daughter would like a first DSLR after years of Point & Shoot use....albeit I'm not entirely convinced she will have the patience for it....I had been leaning towards a used D40X because with a little desaturation, its quite nice for low ISO use.

......but the D3100 is a pretty good deal also.....the only thing is I have not seen many people/portrait shots from this camera.

So....D3100 users, show me your best people shots.....please
