Thank you for viewing! Yes, getting a FF body will be my next upgrade I agree that the 24 is great at 1.4 especially for environmental portraits. I recently visited south France with just the 24+D7k and could not be happier with the results at 1.4:

Last week, I asked the forum to help me choose between the 24G and 85G (for my D7000)...there were mixed views. Initially I wanted to take just the 24G but in the end I took both lenses with me and I ended up using the 85G most of the time! In hindsight, I could have taken just the 85G! Anyway, I would have regretted had I taken just the 24G. Here are some of the results of my trip to Bangalore and Mysore. Any comments welcome!
I love your shots but here is a crazy thought, sell the D7000 and buy a D700 or D800. You have 2 of the great Nikon lenses, switch to FF and use them as Nikon intended.
To my mind, the 24mm on full frame creates one of the most glorious images in photography when shot wide open, you get a tremendous sense of place in the bokeh which is gentler because of the wide perspective, as well as a bitingly sharp subject as well
That lens on those cameras, was made for India
