much more detail with 5D Mark II over 60D

Not sure you are talking my two 1D3 samples or dtuason's samples?

At such ISOs 800 or 1250, 7D simply cannot match under such mixed (not ideal) lights. I know clearly as I also own 60D and have taken many portrait photos. At end I concluded in this particular area my 5D1 (now I also have 5D2) and 1D3 are clearly better. Therefore I don't know use 60D but only 1D3 and 5D1 (now 5D2) for serious portrait but only for wife/kids snapshots. I only ran very basic skin smoothness in the two shots but you can see they still retail amazing facial details under these high ISOs. I found people's faces are one of the most obvious materials to show textual details, and the area clearly show advantages of bigger sensors.
