why such a big difference ?

Am in the process of purchasing a Tokina wide angle lens, & am amazed at the price difference between online & the highstreet, [no surprise there} but also between online sites as well. One example being, highstreet retailer £649.....online different suplier £380. I am obviously aware that buying online is usually cheaper, having just purchased a tumble dryer for £40 less than the shop price, but this seems ridiculous to me. lee uk.
