Africa Trip

Ok I'd appreciate all advice.

I am planning on a trip to Africa next year or 2014. Key focus are on experiencing and enjoying all safari has to offer and photographing the wildlife. Tour party to consist of 2 or 3 fit middle aged kiwi farmers. Would be interested in a 5 to 10 day photography tour and then 5 to 10 days making our own way. Depending on the time of year (you have to work sometimes on the farm) looking at 20 to 30 days away.

So in the first instance:

1 Where are the best places to go?
2 When is the best time of year to go?
3 Any photography tour company/particular phographer tour recommended?
