New to this, so here goes!

These are 3 images of a Takahe, which is a bird Native to New Zealand. There are only about 225 of these birds left so they are endangered, and are subject to an intensive programme by the Department of Conservation which has seen there numbers increase.

You will notice an antenna on the Takhe in the first image, this enables them to be tracked at all times... in case they wander off!

This pair, the first two images are of the female and the last image of the male are at Zealandia, an eco sanctuary in Wellington, New Zealand.

These were all taken with a Canon 7D and a 100-400L lens.

Any comments welcome, and the dates showing on the images are not correct, not sure how I fix this.
