S1, S2, S3, S5 Wednesday thread 2012.01.25

Howdy All,

Alan is on a wonderful cruise (nice to be retired) and, with all of your consent, have taken the solemn task to start the, now legendary, Wednesday "S" thread. In the recent past I have presented some images from Utah and this time will be no different. The following is from an area west of Interstate 15 at Cedar City. Climbing a very large hill to beyond 8000 feet (meters?) by car of course one arrives at a national monument that looks like a small Bryce Canyon. It was a pleasant temperature change from the high 90's to the 70's (Fahrenheit of course) and presented some great vistas. This is just one pano attempt and I hope many of you will post some of your images to make this a nice thread for a late January.
