Indoor sports are very demanding for any camera/lens combo. Shutter priority, atleast 1/250, 1/500 better, single point AF, continuous mechanical shutter (5FPS). You will need arleast Auto iso 3200, possibly iso 6400 to get this done. In my opinion the photos will be either blurry from motion or you will have grain. You need to lower your expectation.

To freeze fast action under indoor lighting with decent results you need $8000 for a D3s and f2.8 tele lens.
